Literature in the Garden

Literature in the Garden In-Person

We hope you'll join us to learn all about what plants need and how to take care of them. Transplant tomato plants into the garden on the Nampa Smiles Terrace at the library. Some plants may be available to take home.

This fun program is part of the Junior Master Gardener curriculum which aims to engage children through garden and ecology-themed children's books and helps inspire learning through garden activities, creative expression and exploration.

For ages 6 and up. Younger children are welcome as long as they have their caregiver to assist them with activities. Presented by University of Idaho Extension's Canyon County Jr. Master Gardener volunteers.
