Young Author's Writing Contest In-Person
Write an original story that fits this year’s theme “Color Our World”. Your book can focus on friendship, creativity, learning new things, or anything else that brings color to our world! Pick up an entry form at the 1st Floor Information Desk.

Submit your work beginning Monday, June 2 and ending on Friday, July 11 at the 1st Floor Information Desk.
Rules:
1. Write an original story that fits this year’s theme “Color Our World”.
2. Works must be submitted on numbered paper no larger than 8 ½ x 11.
3. Books can be handwritten or typed. Illustrations can be hand-drawn or made with computer graphics.
4. Books must be no more than 30 pages.
5. Do not include any identifying information on the book (i.e. name, age, contact info)
6. Typos, misspellings, jelly stains, and scribbles are welcome. Books are judged based on age ability.
