Digital Skills for Job Seekers: Basic Computer Skills In-Person
The first segment of the class focuses on what computers are and how they work. From there the focus is on simple skills like using the mouse and keyboard, keyboard shortcuts, right-click menus, and using the computer file structure. You will practice these skills primarily on an internet browser, which can be tailored towards your interests. In addition to the task/skill-directed practice, you will build confidence in your own problem-solving abilities.
