Eat Smart Idaho: Shop for Value, Check for Facts In-Person

Join us each month for "Eat Smart Idaho," a series of health programs presented by the University of Idaho Extension. You are welcome to attend to any of all of these classes.

The February topic is "Shop for Value, Check for Facts".  The class will meet on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 6:30 - 8:00pm in the Multipurpose Room.

Participants will learn how to use food labels to compare the nutritional value of different foods, help control portion sizes, and to help identify whole grain products, high fiber, low-fat, and low sodium food items.

You'll get to try out new recipes and learn how to budget for healthier meals and will receive healthy living items and kitchen utensils during each class.
