For the safety of the staff and community, the Nampa Public Library will be closed to the public through March 31, 2020. We will continually evaluate the situation and this closure may be extended if deemed necessary.

As a public facility providing services to all demographics, including vulnerable populations, the Library takes the health of the community seriously. This decision was not made lightly. Emails and phone calls will still be answered during this time. Books can be returned through the outside book drop, or checkout times can be extended. The Library staff will be looking at ways to continue serving the public during this closure.

Patrons are encouraged to access online resources to continue reading, listening or watching films during the closure. These e-resources can be found at nampalibrary.org/elibrary and available 24/7.

The Nampa Library and City of Nampa will meet during the closures to continually assess the situation and determine next steps. The City of Nampa is closely monitoring the quickly changing status of COVID-19 in our area. Additional cancellations may be needed if recommended by local and state agencies, and we will communicate changes as quickly as possible.
