9/11 20th Anniversary Video Screening In-Person
Nampa Public Library will be screening the program Anniversary in the Schools put together by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum which features first-person accounts of the attacks and their aftermath from survivors and their families. This program is presented in conjunction with the poster exhibit that will be on display in the lobby from September 7th to September 25th.
This age-approporate 35-minute video will be shown throughout the day of September 11 in the local history area on the 3rd floor of the Nampa Public Library. Materials for activities inspired by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum will be provided for children and teens in the children’s area on the 1st floor as well as in the local history area.
“During this 20th anniversary year, it is our privilege to share these lessons with a new generation, teach them about the ongoing repercussions of the 9/11 attacks and inspire them with the idea that, even in the darkest of times, we can come together, support one another and find the strength to renew and rebuild,” said 9/11 Memorial & Museum President and CEO Alice M. Greenwald.
