Swing Dance In-Person
Learn to dance a vintage style of swing dancing call Lindy Hop! Lindy hop is the quintessential swing from the 1930's and 40's. No partner or experience is required to attend. After the lesson there will be open practice and time to ask questions from the instructor.
Joel Hunter operates Heirloom Dance Studio and organizes Boise City Swing; the largest vintage Swing and Jazz dance festival in the Treasure Valley. With 20 years of dance experience Joel seeks to make dancing approachable, fun, and easy to learn. He is certified in ballroom through the DVIDA syllabus, and teaches a wide variety of Latin dances. Joel is most known for taking individuals with zero dance experience and guiding them to be experts on the social dance floor.
